Audio Programmer
Rockstar North is currently seeking an Audio Programmer. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an established and successful team experienced in pushing the boundaries of game audio on next-gen (Xbox360 and PS3) technology. The role involves design and implementation of ingame audio features. This includes high level audio systems that work in conjunction with other game systems (physics, online, etc), and implementation of cutting edge DSP features. The candidate will work both on Rockstar North titles, and the development of Rockstar’s cross platform audio engine.
Required:
- At least 3+ years experience of programming in C++.
- At least 1 year of audio programming or related experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
- Ability to work within a schedule and deliver effectively to deadlines.
- Creative agility and readiness to respond to feedback and design requirements.
- Ability to work within an established code framework.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Interest in sound synthesis.
- Knowledge of sound tools/APIs such as XACT, SCREAM, or Direct Sound.
Database Programmer
We're looking for an experienced database programmer to join our in-house team developing bespoke bug-tracking and administration tools.
The ideal candidate will have practical experience in managing and delivering software projects and be at home working in a creative team environment.

Game Programmer
We want to hear from games programmers from a variety of backgrounds with excellent C/C++ skills.
Commercial games experience is not essential, however a passion for
games is. You should have a positive attitude and be able to
communicate with people as effectively as you do a computer.
